Michele Harding: Mother of fallen Australian hero, Reece Harding, who lost his life whilst trying to save the lives of others' when clearing landmines in Rojava Kurdistan (northern Syria).

Julian Burnside AO QC: A leading Australian Human Rights lawyer and refugee advocate, author, recipient of the Sydney Peace Prize and Order of Australia. In 2018, Julian Burnside produced a documentary called Border Politics in which he travels around the world visiting refugee camps and interviewing leaders of organisations concerned with refugees and asylum seekers.

Profesor Ofra Bengio: Head of Kurdish studies at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, Tel Aviv University, and lecturer at Shalem College, Jerusalem.
